SIMASA established in 1985, started its activity with the La Rochette Mill in Savoie (France). After the acquisition of this mill by the Cascades group, SIMASA started gradually representing the mills purchased by this group in Europe - Blendecques in France, Djupafors in Sweden, Arnsberg in Germany.

The starting activity being concentrated in folding boxboard for packaging, was followed by other products, like coated paper for labels, kraft sack paper, metallised paper and board and others.

SIMASA signed then new contracts with groups like, Inveresk from Scotland, Horizon pp from Estónia, Henry & Leigh Slater from the UK, Marchigroup from Italy, Kappa Triton from The Netherlands .

SIMASA also represents some converting Machine manufacturers, like Grassi from Milan, Emmeci from Fuccechio (Florence), Perkin from the UK.

In every activities developed, SIMASA keeps a leading position, thanks to a continuous policy of GOOD SERVICE towards its costumers and plain satisfaction to the principals .
